The Datasensing AE6/CP-1F Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. These inductive sensors feature a compact M8 short shielded design with a normally closed (NC) PNP output, making them ideal for proximity detection tasks. The robust metal housing ensures durability, while the 360° visible LED status indicator provides clear operational feedback. With an IP67 rating, these sensors are protected against dust and water ingress, ensuring reliable performance in harsh environments. For specialized applications, ATEX models in category 3 are available upon request. The sensors offer complete protection against electrical damages, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection. They are compatible with standard and long-distance models, and come in both standard and short body housing options. Key specifications include a nominal sensing distance of 1.5mm and an operating distance of 0 to 1.21mm, with a standard target size of 8x8mm FE360. The sensors exhibit a thermal drift of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C. They operate at a switching frequency of 5kHz and support an operating voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED output state indicator and have a time delay before availability of less than 50ms. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with a PBT active head material, these sensors are designed to withstand operating temperatures from -25°C to +70°C. They are EMC compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 standards and are resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. Each sensor comes with two M8x1 nuts for secure mounting.
