Datasensing AK1/AN-3A8T Sensors

The Datasensing AK1/AN-3A8T Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M18 shielded design, these sensors operate with a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm. They are optimized for standard targets of 24x24mm FE360, with correction factors for various materials such as copper (0.40), aluminium (0.45), brass (0.50), and stainless steel (0.75). The sensors exhibit minimal thermal drift of Sr (<10%) and maintain repeat accuracy of less than 5% under standard conditions (UB 24V Ta=23°C ±5°C). With a hysteresis range of 1 to 20%, these sensors are ideal for proximity functions, offering an NPN output type with a normally open (NO) output function. They support a switching frequency of 300Hz and operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. The no-load supply current is ? 20mA, while the load current can reach up to 400mA, with a leakage current of ? 10?A and an output voltage drop of ? 1V at 400mA. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state and feature a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. Built for durability, the sensors include short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. The housing is made from nickel-plated brass, with an active head material of PBT, and they are designed for shielded mounting. The sensors come with a 3.5m PVC cable connection and are supplied with two M18x1 nuts for easy installation. They are CE and UR approved, EMC compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 standards, and resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. With an IP67 mechanical protection rating, these sensors can operate in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
