Datasensing AK1/AN-4A Sensors

The Datasensing AK1/AN-4A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of industrial applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 12mm and an operating range of 0 to 9.7mm, these sensors are ideal for precise proximity detection. The standard target size is 36x36mm FE360, and they offer a correction factor for different materials: copper (0.45), aluminium (0.53), brass (0.56), and stainless steel (0.77). These sensors feature a robust M18 standard no-flush mount design, constructed from durable nickel-plated brass with an active head made of PBT. They are equipped with an NPN output type and a normally open (NO) output function, supporting a switching frequency of up to 300Hz. The operating voltage ranges from 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and a load current of ? 400mA. The AK1/AN-4A Sensors are designed with user safety and reliability in mind, featuring short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection. They also include protection against inductive loads and have a degree of protection rated at IP67, making them suitable for harsh environments. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state and have a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. With a compact size of M18 x 1 / L = 50mm and a weight of 130g, these sensors are easy to install using the supplied M18x1 nuts. They are compatible with a wide range of models, including those with standard, long-distance, and complementary outputs (NO+NC). ATEX models, category 3, are available upon request. The sensors are CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with international standards.
