Datasensing AK1/AP-1A84 Sensors

The Datasensing AK1/AP-1A84 Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M18 shielded design, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 5mm and an operating distance of 0 to 4.05mm, making them ideal for various industrial applications. The sensors are equipped with a PNP output type and a normally open (NO) output function, ensuring efficient proximity detection with a switching frequency of 600Hz. Constructed with a robust nickel-plated brass housing and an active head made of PBT, these sensors are built to withstand harsh environments, offering mechanical protection rated at IP67. The sensors are compatible with a wide range of materials, with correction factors for copper (0.40), aluminium (0.48), brass (0.50), and stainless steel (0.86). They also feature a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The AK1/AP-1A84 Sensors are equipped with a 3m PVC cable for easy installation and connectivity. They include essential protective features such as short-circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, impulsive overvoltage protection, and protection against inductive loads. The sensors operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and a load current of ? 400mA. The output voltage drop is ? 1V at 400mA, and the sensors have a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. Additional features include a yellow LED indicator for output state, a time delay before availability of ? 50ms, and a tightening torque of 25Nm. The sensors are supplied with two M18x1 nuts for secure mounting. They are approved with CE and UR certifications and comply with EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2. The sensors are designed to withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards, and they operate efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C.
