The Datasensing AK1/AP-2A86 Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M18 unshielded design, these sensors operate with a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 6.48mm. They are equipped with a PNP output type and a normally open (NO) output function, ensuring efficient proximity detection. The sensors are constructed with a durable nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, providing robust protection against environmental factors.
With a switching frequency of 600Hz and an operating voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors are suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. They offer excellent repeat accuracy of less than 5% and a thermal drift of Sr under 10%, ensuring consistent performance. The sensors are equipped with a 5m PVC cable for easy installation and connectivity.
Additional features include short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection, enhancing the sensor's durability and reliability. The yellow LED indicator provides a clear output state, while the IP67 mechanical protection rating ensures resistance to dust and water ingress. The sensors are CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility according to IEC 60947-5-2 standards, and are designed to withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M18x1 nuts, these sensors are ready for immediate integration into your system.
