Datasensing AK1/AP-3A84 Sensors

The Datasensing AK1/AP-3A84 Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M18 shielded design, these sensors operate with a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm. They are optimized for standard targets of 24x24mm FE360, with correction factors for various materials such as copper (0.40), aluminium (0.45), brass (0.50), and stainless steel (0.75). The sensors exhibit a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. With a hysteresis range of 1 to 20%, these sensors are ideal for proximity functions, offering a PNP output type with a normally open (NO) output function. They support a switching frequency of 300Hz and operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and a load current of ? 400mA. The sensors feature a leakage current of ? 10?A and an output voltage drop of ? 1V at 400mA, with a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. Equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state, they ensure quick availability with a time delay of ? 50ms. Built with robust protection features, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads, these sensors are housed in nickel-plated brass with a PBT active head material. They are designed for shielded mounting with a tightening torque of 25Nm and come with a 3m PVC cable connection. The sensors are CE and UR approved, compliant with EMC standard IEC 60947-5-2, and resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M18x1 nuts, they measure M18 x 1 with a length of 50mm and offer mechanical protection rated at IP67, suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C.
