Datasensing AK1/AP-3A8T Sensors

The Datasensing AK1/AP-3A8T Inductive Sensor is a high-performance proximity sensor designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M18 shielded design, this sensor operates with a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm. It is optimized for standard targets of 24x24mm FE360, with correction factors for various materials such as copper (0.40), aluminium (0.45), brass (0.50), and stainless steel (0.75). The sensor ensures minimal thermal drift of Sr (<10%) and repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. With a hysteresis range of 1 to 20%, the AK1/AP-3A8T offers a switching frequency of 300Hz and operates on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. It features a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and a load current capacity of ? 400mA, with a leakage current of ? 10?A and an output voltage drop of ? 1V at 400mA. The sensor is equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state and includes essential protections such as short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads. Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and an active head made of PBT, the sensor is designed for durability and ease of installation with a tightening torque of 25Nm. It comes with a 3.5m PVC cable for connections and is supplied with two M18x1 nuts for mounting. The sensor is CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with EMC compatibility standards (IEC 60947-5-2) and resistance to shocks and vibrations (Vibration IEC 60068-2-6 / Shock IEC 60068-2-27). With an IP67 mechanical protection rating, it operates efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C.
