Datasensing AK1/AP-3A8W Sensors

The Datasensing AK1/AP-3A8W Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M18 shielded design, these sensors operate with a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 6.48mm. They are optimized for detecting standard targets of 24x24mm FE360, with correction factors for various materials such as copper (0.40), aluminium (0.45), brass (0.50), and stainless steel (0.75). Engineered for stability, the sensors exhibit a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, ensuring consistent performance. With a switching frequency of 300Hz and an operating voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors are versatile for various applications. The AK1/AP-3A8W sensors feature a PNP output type with a normally open (NO) output function, capable of handling a load current of up to 400mA. They are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state visibility and offer robust protection features, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads. Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, these sensors are designed for durability and are IP67 rated for mechanical protection. They come with a 2m PVC cable for easy connectivity and are supplied with two M18x1 nuts for secure mounting. The sensors are CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with international standards, and are compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 for EMC. They are built to withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards, and operate efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C.
