Datasensing AK1/AP-3AVE80 Sensors

The Datasensing AK1/AP-3AVE80 is a high-performance inductive sensor designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M18 shielded design, this sensor operates with a NO/PNP output and is equipped with a 200mm axial M12 pigtail plug cable for easy connectivity. It offers a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm, making it ideal for various industrial applications. The sensor is compatible with standard targets of 24x24mm FE360 and provides correction factors for different materials, including copper (0.40), aluminium (0.45), brass (0.50), and stainless steel (0.75). With a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C, this sensor ensures consistent performance. It features a hysteresis range of 1 to 20% and a switching frequency of 300Hz. The operating voltage spans from 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and a load current capacity of ? 400mA. The sensor's output voltage drop is minimal at ? 1V @400mA, and it maintains a max ripple content of ? 10%. For user convenience, the sensor includes a yellow LED indicator for output state and is equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. The housing is made of durable nickel-plated brass, with an active head material of PBT, ensuring robust performance in harsh environments. It is designed for shielded mounting and can withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC standards. The sensor is CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility according to IEC 60947-5-2.
