The Datasensing AK1/CN-3H Sensors are designed for precision and reliability, featuring an inductive sensor with an M18 shielded NC/NPN connection and M12 plug. These sensors offer a wide range of models, including standard and long-distance options, with outputs available in cable, M12, and plug cable exit configurations. They are versatile, with models supporting 2, 3, and 4 wires, and ATEX category 3 models available upon request. The sensors also feature complementary output options (NO+NC). With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 6.48mm, these sensors are ideal for detecting standard targets of 24x24mm FE360. They have a correction factor for various materials: copper (0.40), aluminium (0.45), brass (0.50), and stainless steel (0.75). The thermal drift of Sr is less than 10%, and they offer repeat accuracy of less than 5% at UB 24V Ta=23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%. These sensors function as proximity sensors with an NPN output type and NC output function, supporting a switching frequency of 300Hz. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and a load current of ? 400mA. The leakage current is ? 10?A, and the output voltage drop is ? 1V at 400mA, with a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. A yellow LED indicates the output state, and the sensors are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. The sensors are housed in nickel-plated brass with an M18 x 1 dimension and a length of 64mm, weighing 55g. They feature a PBT active head material and a tightening torque of 25Nm. Operating temperatures range from -25°C to +70°C, and they are CE UR approved with EMC compatibility per IEC 60947-5-2. The sensors are designed to withstand shocks and vibrations according to IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards, with an IP67 degree of protection. Supplied accessories include two M18x1 nuts.
