The Datasensing AK6/AP-2H Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm, these sensors are ideal for precise proximity detection. They feature a standard target size of 24x24mm FE360 and offer correction factors for different materials such as copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. The sensors are equipped with a PNP output type and a normally open (NO) output function, ensuring reliable performance with a switching frequency of 2kHz.
These sensors are built with robust nickel-plated brass housing and an active head made of PBT, providing durability and resistance to harsh environments. They are designed for unshielded mounting and come with M12 plug connections for easy installation. The sensors are protected against short circuits, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive loads, ensuring long-lasting operation.
With a compact M18 x 1 / L = 49mm size and a weight of 55g, the AK6/AP-2H sensors are easy to integrate into various systems. They operate within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and are rated with an IP67 degree of protection, making them suitable for use in challenging conditions. The sensors are CE and UR approved, and they comply with EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2. Additionally, they are resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Each sensor comes with two M18x1 nuts for secure mounting.
