The Datasensing AK6/BN-1A Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. These inductive sensors feature a compact M18 short shielded design with both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) NPN output functions, making them versatile for various detection needs. With a nominal sensing distance of 5mm and an operating range of 0 to 4.05mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 18x18mm FE360. The sensors are equipped with a 2-meter PVC cable for easy installation and connectivity. Constructed from durable nickel-plated brass, the AK6/BN-1A sensors are built to withstand harsh environments, offering protection against short circuits, reverse polarity, and inductive loads. They operate efficiently within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a maximum load current of 400mA and a low no-load supply current of ? 10mA. The sensors also feature a yellow LED indicator for output state visibility and are protected against impulsive overvoltage. Engineered for stability, these sensors maintain a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. They are capable of handling a switching frequency of up to 2.5kHz, ensuring rapid response times. The robust design includes IP67 mechanical protection, making them resistant to dust and water ingress, and they are compliant with CE and UR approvals, as well as EMC compatibility per IEC 60947-5-2 standards. The AK6/BN-1A sensors are supplied with two M18x1 nuts for secure mounting, and their compact dimensions (M18 x 1 / L = 39mm) allow for easy integration into existing systems.
