The Datasensing AK6/BP-3A Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in various industrial applications. These inductive sensors feature an M18 short shielded design with both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) PNP output functions, ensuring versatile performance. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm, these sensors are ideal for detecting standard targets of 24x24mm FE360. The sensors are equipped with a 2m PVC cable for easy installation and connectivity.
Constructed with a robust nickel-plated brass housing and an active head made of PBT, the AK6/BP-3A sensors are built to withstand harsh environments, offering a wide operating temperature range from -25°C to +70°C. The sensors are protected against short circuits, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive loads, ensuring long-lasting durability and reliability. The yellow LED indicator provides a clear output state, while the IP67 rating guarantees protection against dust and water ingress.
With a switching frequency of 2.5kHz and a load current capacity of up to 400mA, these sensors deliver fast and efficient performance. The AK6/BP-3A models are compatible with various materials, featuring correction factors for copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. Additionally, the sensors are CE and UR approved, meeting the EMC compatibility standards of IEC 60947-5-2, and are designed to withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M18x1 nuts, these sensors are ready for immediate deployment in your industrial setup.
