The Datasensing AM1/A0-2A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M12 unshielded NO cable with a 2m axial connection, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating distance of 0 to 3.2mm. They are equipped with a standard target size of 12x12mm FE360 and provide correction factors for various materials, including copper (0.52), aluminium (0.57), brass (0.62), and stainless steel (0.87). With a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C, these sensors ensure consistent performance. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, and they support a switching frequency of 1.5kHz. Operating on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, they have a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current capacity of 3 to 100mA. The sensors feature a leakage current of ? 0.8mA and an output voltage drop of ? 2.8V at 100mA, with a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. Designed with user safety in mind, the sensors include short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. The yellow LED indicator provides a clear output state, and the sensors are ready for use with a time delay of ? 50ms. Constructed from durable nickel-plated brass with a PBT active head, they are built to withstand harsh environments, offering an IP67 degree of protection and compliance with IEC 60947-5-2 for EMC compatibility.
