The Datasensing AM1/A0-3HAN Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precise proximity detection. Featuring a robust M12 shielded construction, these sensors are ideal for industrial environments requiring reliable operation. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.2mm, they are optimized for standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. The sensors offer a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.33), aluminium (0.4), brass (0.5), and stainless steel (1.05). Engineered for accuracy, the sensors maintain a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. They feature a hysteresis range of 1 to 20% and a switching frequency of 750Hz, ensuring quick and reliable response times. Operating on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, they support a load current of 3 to 100mA with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state, and they include comprehensive protection features such as short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with a PBT active head, they are designed for durability and ease of installation with an M12 plug connection. Certified with CE and UR approvals, the sensors meet EMC compatibility standards (IEC 60947-5-2) and are resistant to shocks and vibrations (IEC 60068-2-6 / IEC 60068-2-27). They offer mechanical protection rated at IP67, making them suitable for harsh environments with operating temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C.
