The Datasensing AM1/A0-4H Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M12 unshielded NO connection, these sensors offer a wide range of models including standard, short body, and long distance variations. They are equipped with versatile output options such as cable, M12, and M8 plug cable exits, and are available in models with 2 or 3 wires. For specialized applications, ATEX models, category 3, can be requested. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 6.48mm, these sensors are optimized for a standard target size of 24x24mm FE360. They exhibit a correction factor of 0.51 for copper, 0.56 for aluminum, 0.62 for brass, and 0.78 for stainless steel. The thermal drift of Sr is maintained at less than 10%, ensuring consistent performance. The sensors boast a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at UB 24V and Ta=23°C ±5°C, with a hysteresis range of 1 to 20%. Designed for proximity functions, the sensors feature an NPN/PNP output type with a normally open (NO) output function. They support a switching frequency of 750Hz and operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. The no-load supply current is kept at ? 10mA, while the load current ranges from 3 to 100mA. The sensors have a leakage current of ? 0.8mA and an output voltage drop of ? 2.8V at 100mA, with a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. For user convenience, the sensors include a yellow LED indicator for output state and have a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. They are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. The unshielded mounting design, with dimensions of M12 x 1 and a length of 74.8mm, ensures easy installation. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with an active head made of PBT, the sensors are durable and reliable, with a tightening torque of 10Nm. Operating efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, the sensors are CE UR approved and comply with EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2. They are built to withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards, and offer IP67 mechanical protection. Each sensor is supplied with two M12x1 nuts for secure installation.
