The Datasensing AM1/AN-1A4W Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M12 shielded NO/NPN configuration, these sensors come with a 2-meter axial cable and are housed in durable AISI303 stainless steel. With a nominal sensing distance of 2mm and an operating range of 0 to 1.62mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. The sensors offer a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.22), aluminium (0.31), brass (0.41), and stainless steel (0.77). They maintain a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, ensuring consistent performance. Designed for proximity functions, the sensors have an NPN output type with a normally open (NO) output function and a switching frequency of 2kHz. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The output voltage drop is ? 1.8V at 200mA, and the sensors feature a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. A yellow LED indicator provides a clear output state, and the sensors are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. The sensors are designed for shielded mounting and include a 2m PVC cable connection. The active head is made of PBT, and the sensors can withstand a tightening torque of 10Nm. With a mechanical protection rating of IP67, they are suitable for harsh environments, operating in temperatures from -25°C to +70°C. The sensors are CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with international standards, and are compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 for EMC. They are also tested for vibration and shock resistance according to IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27, respectively. Supplied with two M12x1 nuts, these sensors are compact with dimensions of M12 x 1 / L = 49.8mm, making them a versatile choice for various industrial applications.
