The Datasensing AM1/AN-2AAN Sensors are designed for high-performance proximity detection in industrial environments. Featuring an inductive sensor with an M12 unshielded design, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.2mm. The standard target size is 12x12mm FE360, with correction factors for various materials such as copper (0.41), aluminum (0.47), brass (0.56), and stainless steel (1.15). Engineered for reliability, the sensors exhibit a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, ensuring precise operation. With a switching frequency of 2kHz and an operating voltage between 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors are equipped to handle demanding applications. The no-load supply current is ? 10mA, while the load current can reach up to 200mA, with a leakage current of ? 10?A and an output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA. The sensors are built with robust nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head material, providing durability and resistance to harsh conditions. They are equipped with yellow LED indicators for output state visibility and feature comprehensive protection mechanisms, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads. With a mechanical protection rating of IP67, these sensors are suitable for use in environments with exposure to dust and water. They are approved under CE UR II 3G Ex nA IIC T6 Gc II 3D Ex tc IIIB T85°C Dc standards and comply with EMC compatibility IEC 60947-5-2. The sensors are also designed to withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M12x1 nuts, these sensors are easy to install and maintain, making them an ideal choice for industrial automation and control systems.
