
The Datasensing AM1/AN-3A4W Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring a robust M12 shielded design, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating distance of 0 to 3.2mm, making them ideal for various industrial applications. The stainless steel housing ensures durability, while the 2m axial PVC cable provides flexibility in installation. With a standard target size of 12x12mm FE360, these sensors are equipped with a correction factor for different materials: copper (0.33), aluminium (0.4), brass (0.5), and stainless steel (1.05).
The sensors boast a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. They feature a hysteresis range of 1 to 20% and a switching frequency of 2kHz, ensuring quick and accurate responses. Operating on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, they have a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA, with a leakage current of ? 10?A. The output voltage drop is minimal at ? 1.8V @200mA, and the sensors can handle a maximum ripple content of ? 10%.
For user convenience, the sensors include a yellow LED indicator for output state and are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. The M12 standard flush mount design, along with the shielded mounting, ensures easy integration into existing systems. The sensors are CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility according to IEC 60947-5-2 standards. They are built to withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards, and offer mechanical protection rated at IP67. Supplied with two M12x1 nuts, these sensors are ready for immediate deployment in demanding environments, with an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C.
