Datasensing AM1/AN-4A Sensors

The Datasensing AM1/AN-4A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 6.48mm, these sensors are ideal for precise proximity detection. They feature a standard target size of 24x24mm FE360 and offer correction factors for different materials such as copper (0.41), aluminium (0.46), brass (0.52), and stainless steel (0.71). The sensors exhibit a thermal drift of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The AM1/AN-4A models are equipped with an NPN output type and a normally open (NO) output function, with a switching frequency of 2kHz. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensors ensure minimal output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA and maintain a max ripple content of ? 10%. Designed for durability, these sensors come with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. They feature a yellow LED indicator for output state and have a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. The housing is made of nickel-plated brass, with an active head material of PBT, ensuring robust performance in harsh environments. The sensors are unshielded and have a mechanical protection rating of IP67, making them resistant to dust and water. They are compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 EMC standards and can withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. Supplied with two M12x1 nuts, these sensors are easy to install with a tightening torque of 10Nm. Operating efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, the Datasensing AM1/AN-4A Sensors are CE and UR approved, ensuring high reliability and safety in industrial applications.
