The Datasensing AM1/AN-4A4W Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M12 unshielded design, these sensors operate with a NO/NPN output and are equipped with a 2-meter axial PVC cable for flexible installation. Encased in a robust AISI303 stainless steel housing, they offer a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm, making them ideal for various industrial applications. These sensors are engineered with a standard target size of 24x24mm FE360 and provide correction factors for different materials, including copper (0.41), aluminium (0.46), brass (0.52), and stainless steel (0.71). With a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C, they ensure consistent performance. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, and they support a switching frequency of up to 2kHz. Operating within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors have a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and can handle a load current of up to 200mA. They feature a low output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA and a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. The yellow LED indicator provides a clear output state, and the sensors are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. Designed for unshielded mounting, the sensors come with a tightening torque of 10Nm and are supplied with two M12x1 nuts for secure installation. They are CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with international standards, and offer EMC compatibility as per IEC 60947-5-2. Withstanding shocks and vibrations according to IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27, these sensors are built to endure harsh environments. They operate efficiently within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and provide IP67 mechanical protection for reliable performance in demanding conditions.
