The Datasensing AM1/AN-4AAN Sensors are designed for high-performance inductive sensing applications. Featuring an M12 unshielded design, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating distance range of 0 to 6.48mm. They are equipped with a standard target size of 24x24mm FE360 and provide correction factors for various materials, including copper (0.41), aluminium (0.46), brass (0.52), and stainless steel (0.71). With a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C, these sensors ensure reliable performance. The AM1/AN-4AAN sensors feature a proximity function with an NPN output type and a normally open (NO) output function. They support a switching frequency of 2kHz and operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. The sensors have a no-load supply current of ? 10mA, a load current of ? 200mA, and a leakage current of ? 10?A. The output voltage drop is ? 1.8V at 200mA, with a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. A yellow LED indicates the output state, and the sensors are ready for use within 50ms. Built with robust nickel-plated brass housing and PBT active head material, these sensors are designed for durability and reliability. They offer short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. The sensors are mounted unshielded and come with a 2m PVC cable for easy installation. With a tightening torque of 10Nm, they are suitable for various industrial environments. The AM1/AN-4AAN sensors are approved with CE and UR certifications and meet the II 3G Ex nA IIC T6 Gc and II 3D Ex tc IIIB T85°C Dc standards. They are EMC compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 and withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M12x1 nuts, these sensors have dimensions of M12 x 1 / L= 49.8mm and operate within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. With an IP67 mechanical protection rating, they are ideal for use in demanding environments.
