The Datasensing AM1/AP-1H4W Inductive Sensor is designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. Featuring a shielded M12 housing made from durable AISI303 stainless steel, this sensor offers a nominal sensing distance of 2mm and operates effectively within a range of 0 to 1.62mm. It is optimized for standard targets of 12x12mm FE360, with correction factors for various materials including copper (0.22), aluminium (0.31), brass (0.41), and stainless steel (0.77). The sensor maintains a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. With a hysteresis range of 1 to 20% and a switching frequency of 2kHz, this proximity sensor is equipped with a PNP output type and NO output function. It operates on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The output voltage drop is minimal at ? 1.8V @200mA, and it features a max ripple content of ? 10%. The sensor is designed with safety and durability in mind, offering short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. It is equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state and has a time delay before availability of ? 50ms.
