The Datasensing AM1/AP-1HAN Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precise proximity detection. Featuring a robust M12 shielded design, these sensors operate with a Normally Open (NO) PNP output and are equipped with an M12 connector for easy integration. They are certified for use in hazardous environments, meeting II 3G Ex nA IIC T5 and II 3D Ex tD A22 IP67 T90°C standards, ensuring reliable performance in challenging conditions.
With a nominal sensing distance of 2mm and an operating range of 0 to 1.62mm, these sensors are ideal for applications requiring accurate detection of standard targets measuring 12x12mm FE360. The sensors exhibit excellent correction factors for various materials, including copper (0.22), aluminium (0.31), brass (0.41), and stainless steel (0.77), making them versatile for different industrial uses.
The AM1/AP-1HAN sensors boast a high switching frequency of 2kHz and operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. They are designed with advanced protection features, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, ensuring durability and longevity. The sensors also feature a yellow LED indicator for output state visibility and are constructed with nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head for enhanced durability.
These sensors are compliant with EMC standards (IEC 60947-5-2) and are resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards.
