The Datasensing AM1/AP-2AAN Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for reliable proximity detection. Featuring an M12 unshielded design, these sensors operate with a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.2mm. They are equipped with a PNP output type and a normally open (NO) output function, ensuring efficient signal processing with a switching frequency of 2kHz. The sensors are built to withstand challenging environments, offering robust protection with IP67 mechanical protection and compliance with II 3G Ex nA IIC T6 Gc and II 3D Ex tc IIIB T85°C Dc standards.
Constructed from durable nickel-plated brass, the sensors feature a 2m PVC cable connection and an active head made of PBT material. They are designed to handle a wide operating voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensors also include essential protective features such as short-circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, and impulsive overvoltage protection.
With a high repeat accuracy of < 5% and a thermal drift of Sr < 10%, these sensors ensure precise and consistent performance. The yellow LED indicator provides a clear output state, while the sensors' ability to handle shocks and vibrations according to IEC standards makes them suitable for various industrial applications.
