
The Datasensing AM1/AP-4A4W Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M12 unshielded NO/PNP configuration, these sensors come with a 2-meter axial PVC cable and a robust inox housing, ensuring durability in various industrial environments. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 24x24mm FE360. The sensors offer a correction factor for different materials, including copper (0.41), aluminium (0.46), brass (0.52), and stainless steel (0.71).
Engineered for accuracy, they exhibit a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, and they support a switching frequency of 2kHz. Operating on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors have a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA, with a leakage current of ? 10?A. The output voltage drop is minimal at ? 1.8V @200mA, and they can handle a max ripple content of ? 10%.
Equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state, these sensors are ready for use with a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. They include essential protections such as short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads. The unshielded mounting and AISI303 stainless steel housing provide mechanical protection rated at IP67, making them suitable for harsh conditions. The sensors are supplied with two M12x1 nuts for easy installation and are compliant with CE and UR approvals, ensuring they meet international standards for safety and performance.
