Datasensing AM1/AP-4A4W Sensors

The Datasensing AM1/AP-4A4W Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M12 unshielded NO/PNP configuration, these sensors come with a 2-meter axial PVC cable and a robust inox housing, ensuring durability in various industrial environments. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 24x24mm FE360. The sensors offer a correction factor for different materials, including copper (0.41), aluminium (0.46), brass (0.52), and stainless steel (0.71). Engineered for accuracy, they exhibit a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, and they support a switching frequency of 2kHz. Operating on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors have a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA, with a leakage current of ? 10?A. The output voltage drop is minimal at ? 1.8V @200mA, and they can handle a max ripple content of ? 10%. Equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state, these sensors are ready for use with a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. They include essential protections such as short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads. The unshielded mounting and AISI303 stainless steel housing provide mechanical protection rated at IP67, making them suitable for harsh conditions.
