The Datasensing AM1/BP-4C Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M12 unshielded design, these sensors offer both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) PNP output functions, making them versatile for various applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 24x24mm FE360. The sensors exhibit excellent correction factors for different materials, including copper (0.41), aluminium (0.46), brass (0.52), and stainless steel (0.71).
Engineered for stability, the sensors have a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. They feature a hysteresis range of 1 to 20% and a switching frequency of 2kHz, ensuring rapid response times. Operating within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, they consume minimal power with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state, and they include essential protections such as short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads.
Constructed with a robust nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, these sensors are built to withstand harsh environments, offering mechanical protection rated at IP67. They are designed for easy installation with a 2m PVC cable and 90° output, and come with two M12x1 nuts for secure mounting. The sensors are CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with international standards, and are compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 for EMC. They are also tested for durability against shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards.
