The Datasensing AM6/AN-4H Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M12 unshielded NO/NPN connection, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 6.48mm, making them ideal for a variety of applications. The sensors are equipped with a standard target size of 24x24mm FE360 and boast a correction factor for different materials: copper (0.41), aluminium (0.46), brass (0.52), and stainless steel (0.71).
With a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C, these sensors ensure consistent performance. They feature a switching frequency of 2kHz and operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. The sensors are designed with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA, a load current of ? 200mA, and a leakage current of ? 10?A. The output voltage drop is minimal at ? 1.8V @200mA, and they can handle a maximum ripple content of ? 10%.
Built with durability in mind, the sensors include short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. The housing is made from nickel-plated brass, with an active head material of PBT, ensuring robustness and longevity. The sensors are IP67 rated for mechanical protection, making them suitable for harsh environments. They are also CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility according to IEC 60947-5-2 standards.
