The Datasensing AM6/AP-2H Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.2mm, these sensors are ideal for precise proximity detection. They feature a standard target size of 12x12mm FE360 and offer correction factors for different materials, including copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. The sensors boast a thermal drift of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C.
Equipped with a PNP output type and a normally open (NO) output function, the AM6/AP-2H sensors support a switching frequency of 2kHz and operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. They are designed to handle a load current of up to 200mA with minimal leakage and output voltage drop. The sensors are protected against short-circuits, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive loads, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments.
Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, these sensors are robust and durable, with an IP67 degree of protection against dust and water. They are compatible with M12 plug connections and come with two M12x1 nuts for secure mounting. The sensors are CE and UR approved, and they meet EMC compatibility standards as per IEC 60947-5-2. Withstanding shocks and vibrations as per IEC standards, the AM6/AP-2H sensors are suitable for use in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C.
