Datasensing AM6/AP-2HAN Sensors

The Datasensing AM6/AP-2HAN Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precise proximity detection. Featuring an M12 unshielded short case, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating distance of 0 to 3.2mm, making them ideal for various industrial applications. The sensors are equipped with a PNP output type and a normally open (NO) output function, ensuring reliable performance with a switching frequency of 2kHz. Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, these sensors are built to withstand harsh environments, offering IP67 mechanical protection and operating temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. The sensors are designed with multiple protective features, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads, ensuring durability and longevity. The AM6/AP-2HAN Sensors are compatible with standard targets of 12x12mm FE360 and have a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.41), aluminium (0.47), brass (0.56), and stainless steel (1.15). With a repeat accuracy of less than 5% and a thermal drift of Sr under 10%, these sensors provide consistent and accurate readings. Additional features include a yellow LED indicator for output state, a no-load supply current of ? 10mA, and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensors are easy to install with an M12 plug connection and come with two M12x1 nuts for secure mounting. Approved with CE and UR certifications, these sensors meet EMC compatibility standards (IEC 60947-5-2) and are resistant to shocks and vibrations (IEC 60068-2-6 / IEC 60068-2-27).
