The Datasensing AM6/AP-4A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precise proximity detection. Featuring an M12 unshielded design with a NO/PNP output, these sensors are equipped with a 2-meter axial cable for versatile installation. They offer a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 6.48mm, making them suitable for a variety of applications. The sensors are compatible with standard targets of 24x24mm FE360 and have a correction factor for different materials such as copper (0.41), aluminum (0.46), brass (0.52), and stainless steel (0.71).
With a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5%, these sensors ensure reliable performance. They operate at a switching frequency of 2kHz and support an operating voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. The sensors are designed with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection, ensuring durability and safety.
The housing is made of nickel-plated brass, providing robust mechanical protection with an IP67 rating. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state and have a time delay before availability of less than 50ms. They are designed to withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC standards and are approved with CE and UR certifications.
Supplied with two M12x1 nuts, these sensors are easy to mount and offer reliable performance in operating temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C.
