The Datasensing AM6/CN-1C Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability in various industrial applications. Featuring a compact M12 short shielded design, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 2mm and an operating distance of 0 to 1.62mm, making them ideal for close-range detection tasks. The sensors are equipped with a 2m PVC cable with a 90° output for flexible installation options.
Constructed with durable nickel-plated brass housing and an active head made of PBT, the AM6/CN-1C sensors are built to withstand harsh environments, with an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and a mechanical protection rating of IP67. The sensors are designed to handle a load current of up to 200mA, with a low no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a leakage current of ? 10?A, ensuring energy efficiency.
The sensors feature an NPN output type with a normally closed (NC) output function, and a switching frequency of 2kHz, providing fast and accurate response times. They are equipped with a yellow LED indicator to display the output state, and include essential protections such as short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads.
With a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.22), aluminium (0.31), brass (0.41), and stainless steel (0.77), these sensors are versatile for different target materials. The sensors also offer excellent repeat accuracy of < 5% and a thermal drift of Sr of < 10%, ensuring consistent performance.
The AM6/CN-1C sensors are compliant with CE and UR approvals and meet EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2. They are also tested for shocks and vibrations according to IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards, ensuring durability in demanding conditions. Supplied with two M12x1 nuts for secure mounting, these sensors are a reliable choice for proximity detection needs.
