The Datasensing AM6/CN-2C Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring a compact M12 short unshielded design, these sensors are equipped with a 2-meter PVC cable with a 90° output for versatile installation. They operate with an NPN output type and a normally closed (NC) output function, making them ideal for proximity detection applications.
With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.2mm, these sensors are optimized for detecting standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. The sensors exhibit excellent correction factors for various materials, including copper (0.41), aluminum (0.47), brass (0.56), and stainless steel (1.15). They maintain high repeat accuracy of less than 5% and a thermal drift of Sr under 10%, ensuring consistent performance.
The AM6/CN-2C Sensors support a wide operating voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current capacity of ? 200mA. They feature robust protection mechanisms, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads. The sensors are built with a durable nickel-plated brass housing and an active head made of PBT, offering IP67 mechanical protection and resistance to shocks and vibrations as per IEC standards.
Additional features include a yellow LED indicator for output state, a time delay before availability of ? 50ms, and a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. The sensors are supplied with two M12x1 nuts for secure mounting and are approved with CE and UR certifications, ensuring compliance with international standards. Suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, these sensors operate efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C.
