The Datasensing AM6/CP-4A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M12 unshielded NC/PNP configuration, these sensors come with a 2-meter axial cable for versatile installation. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 24x24mm FE360. The sensors offer a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.41), aluminum (0.46), brass (0.52), and stainless steel (0.71), ensuring accurate detection across different surfaces. Engineered for durability, the sensors exhibit a thermal drift of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. They feature a hysteresis range of 1 to 20% and a switching frequency of 2kHz, making them suitable for high-speed applications. Operating within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, they maintain a low no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA, with minimal leakage current and output voltage drop. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state, and they include essential protections such as short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads. Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and PBT active head material, they are robust and reliable, with an IP67 degree of protection against dust and water ingress. The sensors are compliant with CE and UR approvals and meet EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2. They are also designed to withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards.
