The Datasensing AT1/AN-1A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of industrial applications. These sensors offer a wide range of models, including standard and long-distance options, with outputs available in cable, M12, and plug cable exit configurations. They are equipped with models featuring 2, 3, and 4 wires, and ATEX models, category 3, are available upon request. The sensors provide complementary output options (NO + NC) and are fully protected against electrical damages.
With a nominal sensing distance of 10mm and an operating distance of 0 to 8.1mm, these sensors are ideal for precise proximity detection. They are designed to work with a standard target size of 30x30mm FE360, and offer correction factors for various materials such as copper (0.35), aluminium (0.45), brass (0.50), and stainless steel (0.75). The thermal drift of Sr is less than 10%, and the repeat accuracy is less than 5% at UB 24V Ta=23°C ±5°C. The sensors feature a hysteresis range of 1 to 20% and a switching frequency of 200Hz.
Operating within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, the sensors have a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and a load current of ? 400mA. They ensure minimal leakage current (? 10?A) and a low output voltage drop (? 1V @400mA). The sensors are designed to handle a maximum ripple content of ? 10% and include a yellow LED indicator for output state. They are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, as well as protection against inductive loads.
The sensors are housed in nickel-plated brass with a shielded mounting design, measuring M30 x 1.5 with a length of 60mm and weighing 230g. The active head is made of PBT, and the sensors come with a 2m PVC cable connection. They can withstand a tightening torque of 50Nm and operate within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensors are CE and UR approved, EMC compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 standards, and offer mechanical protection with an IP67 degree of protection. They are also resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied accessories include two M30x1.5 nuts.
