The Datasensing BX04SR/0A-HB79 Sensors are a robust area sensor kit designed for precision and reliability. Featuring four adjustable beams, this sensor operates within a nominal sensing distance of 0.3 to 2 meters, with a thermal drift of Sr at ?10%. The beams are spaced 30mm apart, providing a controlled height of 90mm and capable of detecting objects as small as Ø 15mm. The sensitivity can be finely tuned using a trimmer, and the sensor employs an emitter-receiver function principle. The BX04SR/0A-HB79 model includes both an emitter (BX04S/00-HB79) and a receiver (BX04R/AD-HB79), with NPN and PNP output types and a normally open (NO) output function. It boasts a switching frequency of 180Hz, with response times of 500µs for light/dark transitions and 5ms for dark/light transitions. Operating on a voltage range of 10 to 26VDC, it has a no-load supply current of 75mA and can handle a load current of up to 100mA, with a leakage current of just 10?A and an output voltage drop of ?2V at 100mA load. The sensor is equipped with LED indicators for easy status monitoring: green for power on the emitter, and yellow and red for output state and alignment on the receiver.
