Datasensing BX80A/5P-0H Sensors

The Datasensing BX80A/5P-0H Sensors are high-performance area sensor receivers designed for precision and reliability in demanding environments. With a controlled height of 70 mm and an operating distance of up to 2 meters, these sensors are equipped with a microprocessor-based circuit for enhanced sensitivity adjustment. The robust cubic housing, available in a special metallic enclosure, ensures durability and high-duty use, while the IP67 protection degree offers complete protection against electrical damages. Key features include a nominal sensing distance of 90 to 250 mm, a thermal drift of Sr ?10%, and a beam spacing of 6 mm. The sensor can detect objects as small as Ø 2 mm with 12 rays, operating on a PNP output type with NO/NC output functions. It boasts a rapid response time of 2 ms and operates on a voltage range of 12 to 24 VDC, with a no-load supply current of 50 mA and a load current of ?100 mA. The BX80A/5P-0H is equipped with LED indicators for power, alignment, and output state, and features short-circuit and reverse polarity protection. It can withstand external light interference up to 1,500 lux from incandescent lamps and 4,500 lux from sunlight. The sensor is designed to handle impulsive overvoltage and is compliant with CE and cULus approvals, as well as EMC compatibility with IEC 60947-5-2 standards. Constructed with a PBT housing and a PC active head material, the sensor is built to endure operating temperatures from -25°C to +50°C and storage temperatures from -40°C to +80°C. It comes with supplied accessories including two M18x1 nuts, an adjustment key, and a 90° angled bracket, making it a comprehensive solution for industrial sensing applications.
