The Datasensing FAI7/BN-0E Sensors offer a comprehensive solution for your sensing needs, featuring a complete range of M18 sensors powered by a 10...30 Vdc supply. Designed with both axial and radial optics on a flat surface, these sensors are ideal for detecting transparent objects with their retro-reflective models and red emission. Built to withstand harsh environments, they boast an IP67 protection degree and are housed in either metallic or plastic materials.
With a nominal sensing distance of 400mm and a thermal drift of Sr at ?10% Sr, these sensors ensure precision with a repeat accuracy of 5%. The sensitivity can be easily adjusted using a trimmer, and they operate on the principle of diffuse reflection for medium distances up to 600mm. The optic position is axial, and the output type is NPN NO+NC, providing both normally open and normally closed functions.
These sensors operate at a switching frequency of 250Hz with a response time of just 2ms, ensuring quick and reliable performance. They are equipped with short-circuit protection, overvoltage, and reverse polarity protection, making them robust against electrical damages. The LED indicators provide clear status updates, and the sensors are compatible with external light interference up to 3000lux for incandescent lamps and 10000lux for sunlight.
Measuring M18 x 1 with a length of 81.6mm and weighing only 30g, these sensors are compact yet durable, with a housing made of PBT and a PC plug.
