The Datasensing FAI7/BP-0E Sensors offer a comprehensive solution for various sensing applications, featuring a complete range of M18 sensors powered by a 10...30 Vdc supply. Designed with both axial and radial optics on a flat surface, these sensors are ideal for detecting transparent objects using retro-reflective models with red emission. With an IP67 protection degree, they are built to withstand harsh environments, available in both metallic and plastic housings. Each model includes sensitivity adjustment via a trimmer, ensuring precise detection with a nominal sensing distance of 400mm and a thermal drift of Sr ?10% Sr. The sensors operate on a diffuse reflection principle for medium distances up to 600mm, with a repeat accuracy of 5%. The FAI7/BP-0E Sensors are equipped with PNP NO+NC output types, offering a switching frequency of 250Hz and a response time of just 2ms. They are designed to handle a load current of up to 100mA, with a no-load supply current of ? 30mA and a leakage current of ?10?A. The output voltage drop is minimal at ?2V@Iload=100mA, and they feature robust short-circuit and overvoltage protection, along with reverse polarity protection. The sensors emit LED Infrared light at 880nm and are resistant to external light interference up to 3000lux from incandescent lamps and 10000lux from sunlight. Constructed with a durable PBT housing and a PC active head, the sensors are lightweight at 30g and measure M18 x 1 /L =81,6mm. They are designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C without freezing, and they come with supplied accessories including M18 x 1 nuts and a screwdriver. The sensors are CE and cULus approved, ensuring compliance with international standards, and they offer excellent EMC compatibility as per EN 60947-5-2.
