Datasensing FAL4/0P-3E Sensors

The Datasensing FAL4/0P-3E Sensors are advanced photoelectric sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring a 90° laser diffuse reflection principle, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 200mm with a thermal drift of Sr ?10% Sr and a repeat accuracy of 5%. The sensitivity can be easily adjusted using the teach-in method, making it adaptable for various applications. The sensor's optic position is radial at 90°, and it provides a PNP L/D selectable output function with a switching frequency of 800Hz and a response time of 625µs. Operating within a voltage range of 10…30VDC, the sensor ensures efficient performance with a no-load supply current of ? 30mA and a load current of ?100mA. It features robust protection mechanisms, including short-circuit protection with autoreset, overvoltage, and reverse polarity protection. The sensor emits a LASER Red (650nm) class1 light, withstanding interference from external light up to 3000lux (incandescent lamp) and 10000lux (sunlight). Constructed with a durable nickel-plated brass housing and a glass/PC active head, the sensor is designed to withstand harsh environments with an IP67 mechanical protection rating. It is compatible with M12 plug connections and comes with supplied accessories, including M18 x 1 nuts and a screwdriver. The sensor is approved by CE cULus and meets EMC compatibility standards EN 60947-5-2, ensuring high reliability and safety. With a compact dimension of M18 x 1/L=107,6mm, it operates efficiently in temperatures ranging from -15°C to +55°C.
