The Datasensing FARN/BN-3A Sensors are advanced photoelectric sensors designed for precise and reliable object detection. Featuring a 90° polarized optic with a 2-meter adjustable range, these sensors are equipped with an NPN NO+NC output and a robust metal housing. The sensors operate on a 10...30 VDC power supply and are built to withstand harsh environments with an IP67 protection rating. They are suitable for detecting transparent objects with a red LED emission and offer total protection against electrical damages, including short-circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensors are CE and cULus approved, ensuring compliance with international standards.
With a nominal sensing distance of 2.5 meters and a repeat accuracy of 5%, these sensors provide reliable performance in various applications. The sensitivity can be easily adjusted using a trimmer, and the sensors feature a radial optic position at 90°. They have a high switching frequency of 250Hz and a fast response time of 2ms, making them ideal for dynamic environments. The sensors are equipped with LED indicators for easy status monitoring and are designed to resist interference from external light sources.
Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and a PMMA active head, the sensors are durable and lightweight, weighing only 130g. They come with a 2-meter PVC cable for easy installation and are supplied with M18 nuts and a screwdriver for convenience.
