The Datasensing FARN/BP-0EAN Sensors are advanced photoelectric sensors designed for precise and reliable detection. Featuring a polarized function principle, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 4 meters with a thermal drift of Sr at ?10% Sr and a repeat accuracy of 5%. The sensitivity can be easily adjusted using a trimmer, ensuring optimal performance in various applications. Equipped with a PNP NO+NC output type, the sensors provide both NO and NC output functions, with a switching frequency of 250Hz and a rapid response time of 2ms. They operate efficiently within a voltage range of 10 to 30VDC, consuming a no-load supply current of ?30mA and supporting a load current of up to 100mA. The output voltage drop is minimal at ?2V when the load current is 100mA, and the sensors feature a max ripple content of ?10%. The robust design includes short-circuit protection with autoreset, overvoltage, and reverse polarity protection, ensuring durability and safety. The sensors are equipped with LED indicators for easy status monitoring, and they can withstand interference from external light sources up to 5000lux (incandescent lamp) and 10000lux (sunlight). Constructed with a PBT/PC plug housing and a PMMA active head material, the sensors are built to endure harsh environments, with an IP67 mechanical protection rating. They are approved with CE cULus Ex certifications and comply with EMC compatibility standards EN 60947-5-2. The sensors are resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC standards, and they come with supplied accessories including M18 x 1 nuts and a screwdriver for easy installation. With dimensions of M18 x 1 / L = 81.6mm, these sensors are designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C without freezing, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
