The Datasensing PFM1/AN-4H Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability in demanding environments. Encased in robust AISI 316L stainless steel housing, these sensors offer exceptional durability and resistance to corrosion. They feature an LED status indicator for easy monitoring and boast an impressive protection degree of IP67, IP68, and IP69K, ensuring they are well-suited for harsh conditions. These sensors are available in both standard and long-distance models, with a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 6.48mm. They are designed for use with a standard target size of 24x24mm FE360 and have a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.33), aluminum (0.40), brass (0.45), and stainless steel (0.75). The sensors maintain a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The PFM1/AN-4H Sensors are equipped with a proximity function and an NPN output type with a normally open (NO) output function. They support a switching frequency of 2kHz and operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. The sensors have a no-load supply current of ? 15mA, a load current of ? 200mA, and a leakage current of ? 15?A. The output voltage drop is ? 2V at 200mA, with a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. Designed for unshielded mounting, these sensors have dimensions of M12 x 1 with a length of 64.6mm and weigh 30g. They are equipped with an M12 plug connection and an active head made of PPS material. The sensors can withstand a tightening torque of 25Nm and operate in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +80°C, with short exposure capability up to 100°C during cleaning processes. The PFM1/AN-4H Sensors come with comprehensive protection features, including short-circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, impulsive overvoltage protection, and protection against inductive loads. They are approved by CE, cULus, ECOLAB, and DIVERSEY, and comply with EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2. Additionally, they are designed to withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M12x1 nuts, these sensors are an ideal choice for applications requiring reliable and precise sensing capabilities.
