Datasensing PFM1/BP-4H Sensors

The Datasensing PFM1/BP-4H Sensors are designed with a robust AISI 316L stainless steel housing, ensuring durability and resistance to harsh environments. These sensors feature an LED status indicator and offer a high degree of protection with IP67, IP68, and IP69K ratings, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. ATEX models, category 3, are available upon request for environments requiring explosion protection. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 6.48mm, these sensors are ideal for precise proximity detection. They are compatible with standard targets of 24x24mm FE360 and have correction factors for various materials, including copper (0.33), aluminium (0.40), brass (0.45), and stainless steel (0.75). The sensors exhibit minimal thermal drift of less than 10% and repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The PFM1/BP-4H Sensors are equipped with PNP output types, offering both NO and NC output functions, and a switching frequency of 2kHz. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 15mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensors are designed with short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, ensuring reliable performance in demanding conditions. These sensors are unshielded and feature an M12 x 1 connection with a length of 64.6mm, weighing 30g. The active head is made of PPS material, and the sensors can withstand operating temperatures from -40°C to +80°C, with short exposure up to 100°C during cleaning processes. They are approved by CE, cULus, ECOLAB, and DIVERSEY, and comply with EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2. The sensors are supplied with two M12x1 nuts for easy installation.
