Datasensing PKS/0N-1H Sensors

The Datasensing PKS/0N-1H Sensors are designed for precision and durability, featuring an M18 standard flush mount with a nominal sensing distance of 5mm and an operating range of 0 to 4.05mm. These inductive sensors are equipped with a high-frequency switching capability of 1.5kHz and offer a complementary output function (NO+NC) with an NPN output type. The innovative double enclosure housing is resistant to cutting oils, making it ideal for machine tool applications, and is immersion proof with IP67/68 sealing. The sensors are constructed from nickel-plated brass, ensuring robustness and longevity, and are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for easy visibility of the output state. They provide complete protection against electrical damages, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection. The sensors operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 15mA and a load current of ? 400mA. With a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5%, these sensors maintain high precision under varying conditions. They are compatible with standard targets of 18x18mm FE360 and have correction factors for different materials such as copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. The sensors are CE approved and meet EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2, withstanding shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M18x1 nuts for easy installation, the sensors have a tightening torque of 50Nm and operate efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. ATEX models, category 3, are available upon request for environments requiring additional safety measures.
