The Datasensing PKW/0N-2H Sensors are designed for high-performance proximity detection with an inductive sensor M18 unshielded NPN connection and M12 stainless steel housing. Featuring an innovative double enclosure, these sensors are resistant to cutting oils, making them ideal for machine tool applications. They are immersion proof with sealing rated at IP67/68, ensuring reliable operation in challenging environments. With a high frequency switching capability and complementary output (NO+NC), these sensors offer versatile functionality. The M12 plug cable exit allows for easy installation, and the LED indicator is visible at a wide angle for convenient monitoring. These sensors provide complete protection against electrical damages, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection. They have a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 6.48mm, with a standard target size of 24x24mm FE360. The sensors exhibit a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy of less than 5% at UB 24V Ta=23°C ±5°C. They are designed with a hysteresis range of 1 to 20% and a switching frequency of 1.5kHz. Operating within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, they have a no-load supply current of ? 15mA and a load current of ? 400mA. The output voltage drop is ? 2V at 200mA, with a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. Constructed from AISI303 stainless steel, the sensors are robust and durable, with a tightening torque of 50Nm. They operate effectively in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C and are approved with CE and EMC compatibility according to IEC 60947-5-2 standards. The sensors are also designed to withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M18x1 nuts, these sensors are ready for immediate integration into your system. ATEX models, category 3, are available on request for environments requiring additional safety measures.
