The Datasensing PMS/0N-2H Sensors are designed for precision and durability in demanding environments. Featuring an innovative double enclosure housing, these inductive sensors are resistant to cutting oils, making them ideal for machine tool applications. With an IP67/68 sealing, they are immersion proof, ensuring reliable performance even in harsh conditions. The sensors offer high-frequency switching and a complementary output (NO+NC) with an M12 plug cable exit for versatile connectivity. ATEX models, category 3, are available upon request for explosive atmospheres. The sensors boast a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating distance of 0 to 3.24mm, with a standard target size of 12x12mm FE360. They feature a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.41), aluminium (0.47), brass (0.56), and stainless steel (1.15). The thermal drift of Sr is less than 10%, and the repeat accuracy is under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. With a hysteresis range of 1 to 20%, these sensors ensure precise proximity detection. Operating on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, the sensors have a no-load supply current of ? 15mA and a load current of ? 100mA. They feature a leakage current of ? 10?A and an output voltage drop of ? 2V at 100mA. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state visibility and offer complete protection against electrical damages, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection. Constructed with nickel-plated brass housing and a PPS active head material, the sensors are robust and reliable. They are designed for unshielded mounting with a tightening torque of 10Nm and can operate in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. The sensors are CE approved and comply with EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2, as well as vibration and shock standards IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. Supplied with two M12x1 nuts, these sensors are ready for integration into your system.
