The Datasensing PMS/0P-2HAN Sensors are designed for high-performance proximity detection in industrial environments. These inductive sensors feature a robust M12 shielded design with a PNP connection, ensuring reliable operation in hazardous areas with certifications II 3G Ex nA IIC T6 Gc and II 3D Ex tc IIIB T85°C Dc. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.24mm, these sensors are ideal for precise detection tasks. The standard target size is 12x12mm FE360, and the sensors offer correction factors for various materials, including copper (0.41), aluminium (0.47), brass (0.56), and stainless steel (1.15). The sensors maintain high accuracy with a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. They feature a hysteresis range of 1 to 20% and a switching frequency of 2kHz, making them suitable for dynamic applications. Operating within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, they consume minimal power with a no-load supply current of ? 15mA and a load current of ? 100mA. The output voltage drop is kept to a maximum of 2V at 100mA, with a ripple content of ? 10%. Equipped with yellow LED indicators for output state, these sensors ensure easy monitoring. They are protected against short-circuits, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage, enhancing their durability. The sensors are housed in nickel-plated brass with an active head made of PPS, providing excellent mechanical protection rated at IP67. They are designed for unshielded mounting with a tightening torque of 10Nm and come with two M12x1 nuts for secure installation. The sensors are compliant with EMC standards IEC 60947-5-2 and withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. Operating efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, these sensors are a reliable choice for demanding industrial applications.
