The Datasensing Red LED Emission Through Beam Transmitter and Receiver is a high-performance sensor designed for precise object detection and background suppression. Featuring a visible and bright red LED emission, this model offers multiple background suppression functions and is capable of detecting shiny and clear objects with ease. It supports single and double trimmer adjustments, as well as push button models, providing flexibility in various applications. The sensor boasts a diffuse proximity range of up to 100 cm and background suppression up to 800 mm for the LED trimmer version. With a polarized RRX range of 7 m for red LED emission and 12 m for red laser emission, it ensures reliable performance in diverse environments. The through-beam capability extends up to 20 m, while the laser version reaches 30 m, making it suitable for long-distance sensing tasks.
The device is housed in a rugged IP67 plastic miniature case with M3 threaded holes and metal inserts for secure mounting. It features state-of-the-art IO-Link connectivity with extended Smart Tasks, enhancing its integration into modern automation systems. The sensor operates on a voltage range of 10 to 30 VDC, with a nominal sensing distance of 20 m and a sensitivity adjustment via a 1-turn trimmer. It offers a high switching frequency of 500 Hz and a rapid response time of 1 ms, ensuring quick and accurate detection.
Equipped with yellow output and green stability LED indicators, the sensor provides clear visual feedback on its operational status. It includes short-circuit and reverse polarity protection, as well as impulsive overvoltage protection, ensuring reliable and safe operation. The housing is made from plastic polymer fiber glass reinforced material, with an active head of PMMA, ensuring durability and resistance to environmental factors. The sensor is compatible with EN 60947-5-2 standards for interference to external light and EMC compatibility, and it is approved by CE and cULus. With a compact cubic design measuring 11x31x19 mm, it is suitable for installation in tight spaces. The operating temperature range is -25°C to 55°C, with a storage temperature range of -25°C to 70°C, making it versatile for various industrial applications.
