The Datasensing SBCR03/S-AM Control Unit with muting 24VDC is a robust and versatile safety control unit designed for body protection and access control applications. It supports up to 6 sets of safety photocells, either M18 (SH4-IA) or M30 (TH6-IA), and is easily mountable on a DIN rail. This Type 2 safety control unit is compliant with Cat. 2 according to EN 61496-1 and Cat. 2 / PL c according to EN ISO 13849-1, ensuring reliable performance in safety-critical environments.
Equipped with both single and double channel muting and override functions, the unit offers a response time of less than 5 ms, with 2 OSSD outputs for efficient operation. The nominal sensing distance varies according to the sensors used, with SH4/*-**IA reaching up to 10m and TH6/*-*IA up to 60m. The unit features manual/automatic restart, EDM, muting, double muting, and override functions, making it a compact standard solution for various safety applications.
The SBCR03/S-AM is designed to handle a maximum of 6 sensor pairs and 4 muting sensors, with muting and state lamp outputs supporting incandescent lamps of 1 to 10W at 24Vdc. It operates at 24 Vdc ± 20% with a no-load supply current of 150mA and a load current of up to 500mA per output. The unit's housing is made of durable ABS UL VO material, offering mechanical protection with an IP20 rating. It operates efficiently within a temperature range of 20°C to +60°C and can be stored at temperatures between -25°C and +70°C.
